Santa Rosa's First United Methodist Church hosted F.I.S.H. when it was founded 45 years ago. They still support us in many ways. Each February they hold a special food drive in addition to the regular ones they hold all year long. This year the congregation gave generously, over 500 lbs. of non-perishable food for F.I.S.H. to distribute to the needy families in Sonoma County. Pictured above are church members Bill and Jennifer Dornbush along with Dian Jorgensen, F.I.S.H. volunteer and board member, delivering some of the bounty to F.I.S.H.

These two young members of Santa Rosa's Bethlehem Lutheran Church, solicited special donations benefitting the F.I.S.H. and S.A.Y. organizations at church on Super Bowl Sunday.  Even though people donated to the soup pot of their favorite team, the proceeds will be split evenly.

91 year old F.I.S.H. director, Jeanne-Marie Jones, is retiring after a successful term as the third Director of our 45 year old food pantry. No one currently at F.I.S.H. was here when she first began volunteering 25 years ago.  Her tenure has been marked by her compassion, her frugality, her ability to attract and retain volunteers & donors, and her intense focus on our core mission: to give food to all who ask.
